College Math Requirement

All Suffolk students are required to take a math course at 130 level or above and several majors require math at a level above this. The possible paths are outlined in the flowchart below. Note that your initial placement in the sequence is determined by your placement exam score as well as your major. Generally speaking, we recommend students take the highest math course into which they place. However, students should always consult with their advisor to determine which track will satisfy their major's requirement.
